Fraport Twin Start Is Seeking New Head of PR & CCD

Fraport Twin Start Airport Management AD as the largest airport operator in Bulgaria and the concessionaire of the international airports in Varna and Burgas, is seeking to recruit a motivated professional for the position of Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communication department

General description of the position:

• Leader of all PR/External Relations and internal communication activities for Fraport Twin Star;

• Report to the CEO of the company;

• Responsible for developing and executing, the corporate PR strategy, overseeing the PR budget, managing all PR activities and leading the PR team;

• Build, maintain and drive improvement of the Fraport Bulgaria brand, through a fully integrated communications plan including press releases, media outreach, strategic media partner cultivation, social media presence;

• Provide strategic, creative and logistical leadership, and manage the execution of public relations, media relations and industry relations for Fraport Twin Star;

• Represent externally Fraport Twin Star on a day-to-day basis with the media representing the company in print, online, and broadcast media interviews.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global communications strategies and plans that support Fraport Twin Star;

• Develop and execute internal and external communications initiatives and projects

• Lead all ongoing PR efforts for Fraport Twin Star and ensure continual innovation with new efforts;

• Regularly interact with the media, including serving as a spokesperson for online, print, radio and television interviews;

• Collaborate with and support Marketing teams in broader initiatives;

• Collaborate with and support Social Committee and HR dept. in different social and donation initiatives (ex. charity initiatives, parties for the employees, sports tournaments, children parties, open doors days, etc.)

• Collaborate with Fraport AG PR team on development /integration of global PR strategy and execution, and on global PR programs and roadmap;

• Lead PR team.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in PR in a corporate or agency environment;

• Experience as a leader;

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;

• Demonstrated results in working with and leading the thinking of senior management;

• Comfortable with intense working environments and tight deadlines;

• Media spokesperson experience;

• Media relations experience required; journalist references appreciated;

• Social media experience;

• Experience using public relations as a core tactic within a brand marketing environment;

• A diplomatic, relationship builder with strong professional presence and demonstrated ability to influence others;

• Demonstrated ability to counsel executives regarding message content and delivery;

• Team Player, excellent interpersonal skills;

• Outstanding project management and organizational skills;

• Ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time;

• Experience managing public relations;

• Superior attention to detail;

• Master degree, Communications or related field preferred;

• Fluency in English.
